What it costs, and how many slots exist
Three featured businesses per borough page, six per city-wide trade page. That is the whole inventory and it does not grow, because a page where a third of the cards are Featured has sold the mark's meaning to buy one more subscription.

Verified business

The phone call we already make to confirm a claim, plus a business-number check against your trading name, and a Verified mark that says we did it. Claiming stays free and loses nothing by your not buying this.

Putting an offer up costs nothing once you have claimed your page - it is the thing that gives somebody a reason to come, and taxing that would be daft. The $24.99 puts it at the top of the deals board and on the home page for however long it runs.
